Seymour Library has received a $10,000 grant from the Suzanne Lee Trust specifically for the Teen Scene Renovation.
That funding will allow the library to begin improving the space, with replacement of the existing booths as the first priority. With additional community support, however, the project can go further and make a much greater impact for the teens who use the library.
Additional improvements are still being explored and may include changes to make the space more functional and easier to use, including the area surrounding the 3D printer.
Renderings and additional project details are coming soon.
