About the Foundation

The Foundation of the Seymour Library Inc. is a nonprofit organization that supports Seymour Library and the surrounding communities of Brockport, Sweden, and Clarkson. Our role is to help strengthen the library’s impact through fundraising, community support, and special projects that benefit library users now and in the future.

Why the Foundation Exists

A strong library helps strengthen a strong community. The Seymour Library Foundation supports projects, programs, and improvements that help Seymour Library remain a welcoming and valuable resource for people of all ages. The Foundation helps expand what is possible by supporting needs and opportunities that go beyond the library’s regular operating budget.

What Support Can Make Possible

Foundation support may help fund equipment, improved spaces, special initiatives, community-centered enhancements, educational opportunities, and other priorities identified for the library.

How We Work

The Foundation relies on donations, sponsorships, events, volunteers, grants, and community partnerships to help the library serve Brockport and the surrounding community well.

As a volunteer-led organization, we welcome community members who would like to share their time, skills, and ideas in support of Seymour Library through events, outreach, fundraising, marketing, graphic design, website help, and other projects throughout the year.
